Essential Oils Uses

I am sitting at my computer smelling one of my favorite essential oil Lavender, as I read comments from article post. It seems that people want to know more about Essential Oil uses.

What can essential oils be used for? What are essential oils uses? Essential oils have a variety of uses from reducing anxiety and stress, to disinfectant, to pest control, healing burns and wounds, aids with weight loss, reducing anxiety and stress, restoring skin complexion and alleviating headaches. Other essential oil uses help with hair growth, reduces cough and you can mix essential oils to have a combination of uses at one time. If using a diffuser, you simply add more than one essential oil to it for the desire results.

We normally use essential oils in 3 ways. We take them internally, topically and aromatically.

Internally

Internally using essential oils by ingesting essential oil. Please be cautious when ingesting the essential oil. You will only need a drop or two. Not all essential oils can be consumed.

Antioxidants are used to protect against free radical damage. The essential oil can help reduce free radicals in your body. Essential oils will help flush them out of your system. Some of the essential oils that help are as follows.

  • Black Pepper “Piper nigrum” is hot, sharp, fruity and spicy.
  • Copaiba “Copaifera” is spicy and woody.
  • Juniper Berry “Juniperus communis” is balsamic, clean, woody and spicy.

Topically

Topically using essential oil can be very helpful. Please make sure to dilute the essential oils that you use on your skin. The skin on the different parts of your body is more sensitive than others. Only apply essential oil in certain areas of your body. Certain essential oils will help treat skin for being dry, oily,  acne-prone skin, and pigmentation. Foreheads and templates placements are mainly used for headaches. Essential oils are used on your back and neck to relieve pain in those areas. Essential oils for Abdomen help with Abdomen spasms, gas relief, constipation, and heartburn.

Aromatically

Aromatically is the main use of essential oils. You can have the same effects as using them as Internally and Topically. The main difference is that you will be inhaling in through the air. I use a diffuser. But there are a few things that can be used for Aromatics. Essential oils use through the diffuser are stress and anxiety, headaches and migraines, sleep and insomnia, reducing inflammation, and antibiotic and antimicrobial.
